Valentine Matchbox Favors

Sometimes you get what you want even when you think all is lost. I might be over excited over something that could be seen as a bit trivial to most, but I'm a big believer in celebrating life's little victories and I like to share these victories to the masses so here goes it.
The Back Story
(A little warning, just in case you want to move onto the fun stuff). After a long hiatus from crafting, I finally got back into the swing of things and was fortunate enough to be able to attend the annual scrapbook convention. I was inspired! I came across the Stampin Up booth and fell in love with a project they had a sample of. It was a favor box made from one of their exclusive dies, called the matchbox die. Of course I quickly asked the demonstrator how I could get my scrappy hands on one. To my disappointment, she says, "That die is retired as of last night and can't be purchased through Stampin Up." I am sure she could see the look of complete and udder terror and disbelief on my face, to which she says, "but you might be able to find a demonstrator willing to sell theirs."
I clung tightly to that glimmer of hope. I barely made it through the door before I was on eBay searching to no avail. All hope was lost, or so I thought. I went about my life and eventually, like most infatuations, I forgot about the die all together. Then it happened, my sister signed up to be a demonstrator so it flamed my desire once again. So I began the search again and soon after that Stampin Up had a clearance sale and I was just glancing through it, web page by web page, until......aaaaahhhaaaaahhaaaaah(can you hear the angels singing?)! There it was, on a hidden page of the sale, and at half the price I might add! I didn't even hesitate, and I think my debit card might have some sort of damage from ripping it out of my purse so quickly!
(Here is where the fun stuff starts) :)
I patiently awaited the right opportunity to arise to take my beautiful die for a spin and the time has come! Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I threw together some favors for my daughter's Mother's Day Out class.

I made these favors using the following supplies,
1. The Stampin Up matchbox die
2. Stampin Up heart punch
3. Stampin Up curly label die
4. Valentine paper I purchased from Walmart for a whole 97 cents!
5. Thin white ribbon
6. Crop-a-dile
7. Sticky tape
8. Dimensional adhesives
9. Pink and black card stock
10. a small scalloped circle die, although you could use a scalloped circle punch if you have one.
I die cut the inside with the card stock because it needed to be out of heavier paper and the outer sleeve out of the patterned paper, which was a lighter weight. I folded them up and then punched the curly label and heart punches out of the left over card stock and then adhered the hearts to the scalloped circle and then adhered the circle to the curly label punch using the dimensional squares. I used the crop a dile to punch a hole in one end of the inner box and then tied a knot in the end of a looped piece of the ribbon and pulled the ribbon through the hole.
