Vintage Style with Melissa Frances

***********Updated Information!!!!!!!!!*******************
There are some big changes to this event! First of which is a change of venue! We have decided to make this a more intimate event and also due to some scheduling conflicts with the hotel, we have chosen to keep the entire event at Whitworth Ranch Retreat. What this means is the cost to us is able to go way down, so we are passing that savings along to you! What it boils down to is this:

2 Days of classes are now 175.00 + tax per person
VIP package is now 600.00 + tax per person
This however also means, we no longer have a one day class option.
This event still includes lunches and beverages during the classes and the VIP guests still get the private dinner with Melissa Friday night and an exclusive class on that night as well.
You are still getting the same value as far as product.  Retail value for all the product, not including the class for the VIP attendees is over $250! For those of you that have already sent in payment we will be refunding you the difference, or if you would like a friend to come along, we can put that credit toward their fee and you can split the cost.

We have kept you all in suspense long enough and would like to announce that Craft Coach is privileged to offer you an exciting crafting experience. We've teamed up with Melissa Frances to bring you a weekend of crafting and fun that you will never forget. So mark you calendars for the weekend of September 14th, 2013.
Event Location:
The event will take place at the Holiday Inn  located at 1311 Wet N' Wild Way, Arlington, Texas 76011.
Whitworth Ranch Retreat located at 11582 Willis Ln, Scurry, Texas 75158
Basic Itinerary:
Each day the classes will start at 10:00 am and conclude some time around 5 pm. Saturday Sunday will be one all day project, (bookbinding 102) we will have class for a few hours, break for lunch and then continue on with the same project. Sunday Saturday we will do one project in the morning, break for lunch and then conclude the day with a different project. Saturday's class is a wall hanging and a card class where we will make several elaborate cards. Both days will include a lunch and all day access to the beverage cart, which will include coffee, tea, sodas, and bottled water.

We also have a few options to choose from so you can pick whichever will work best for you!
  •      Option 1.
You can choose to attend both days of classes at the cost of $280.00 175.00 per person.
  •      Option 2.
You can choose to attend one day of classes at the cost of $150.00 per person,  we only have spaces for 10 people for this option, however you can choose which day you would like to attend, Saturday or Sunday.

If you choose options 1 or 2, you also have the option to stay in the hotel. We have made special arrangements with the hotel to give our guests a special rate on rooms if they choose to stay in the hotel for the weekend. Simply mention that you are booking for the Craft Coach event and you will receive the reduced rate.  The rooms are either a room with two queen beds or one King with a fold out sofa.  The rate is the same if there is one person staying or 4 so feel free to book with a friend and get an amazing deal on your stay. This particular Holiday Inn has a shuttle service to and  from DFW airport, as well as shuttle service to nearby attractions/restaurants in the area.

    Banner Love

Hello, my name is Maggie and I am a banner-aholic. I don't care what it's made out of or what color it is, I love them all! Every time I go to decorate for any occasion I always seem to work a banner in there somehow. I'm not sure what the appeal is, I can't explain it, but I am truly obsessed! In my book you cannot go wrong with any type of banner, whether it's made of paper or fabric or anything else you can scrounge up and glue or tie to some sort of string.

Here are just a few examples, some are of my own design and some I fell in love with on other blogs.

When I planned on redecorating my daughter's room I first made a banner for her birthday party and then planned the entire redo based on the banner.

    Another of the Valentine Banner

I designed this banner to compliment some tablescapes for an event at my favorite crafting retreat Whitworth Ranch in Scurry, Texas.  The retreat is honored to be the location of a creative event for a lovely group of ladies. The event is know as the Beauty in Blue.
