Console Table

Craft Coach is all about being in the moment; when something "speaks" to us we embrace it!
We found this console table at one of our local resale shops and at $35 we couldn't pass it up.
We weren't sure what we would do with it yet, but knew it was just a matter of
time before we would discover her purpose.
During our renovation of the Craft Coach it came to us. This table was perfect for adding a bit of softness and organic shape to the inside. We sanded a bit, painted one coat of primer and then spray painted it with 3 coats of white.

We decided it was a bit harsh as bright white, so we did a little glazing and then opted for wax as the finishing touch. We added a fabric skirt to add more softness, we simply stapled the fabric
underneath, gathering as we stapled. The finished product is just what we envisioned. Here is
a partial pic of it in use inside our mobil store.

We did the same finish on the lower part of our built ins as well as two more shelving units we paid a total of $10 for. We also put these shelves in the store. We bought them at two different garage sales, on the same day, but they were almost exactly alike, so they were just begging to be made over and put together.
